1.Customer's Data Security
Check if the URL of the website begins with https:// for their encrypting protocol of customer data on SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to protect your data.
2.CHECK THE LIST OF AGENTS AND BROKERS FROM THE OFFICE OF INSURANCE COMMISSION’S WEBSITE
It is a regulation from OIC that life or non-life insurance brokers or agents need to inform their customers of their broker / agent license number before starting selling policies, so you can go to the OIC website and recheck that number at eservice.oic.or.th
3.Payment
You should pay directly to the broker's account (company account) and avoid transferring to personal accounts. In the case of credit card payments, you should get message or e-mail from credit card company to confirm the company’s identity.
