Just bought a new policy? We bet you don’t know some of the exceptions to your coverage. These are some of the terms and conditions that companies don’t usually talk about, however we are Frank and we want to shed some light on these for you. Here are some of the exceptions to your coverage.
The exceptions are split into 2 main categories.
1. General terms there are general exceptions in which related conditions will not be covered.
1.1 War, aggression or other activities that related wars. (whether announced or not).
1.2 Civil war, rebellion, revolution against the government, seized power by military force, riot or an uprising against the government. If you see any of these situations ahead of you, we suggest you turn back.
1.3 Nuclear weapon explosions. Don’t get close to nuclear weapon! We think it’s safe to say you already knew that.
1.4 Ion Explosion, Radiation, the impact of radioactivity from nuclear fuel, or from nuclear waste arising from burning nuclear fuel. Simply put, try to avoid radioactivity of any sort.
2. Coverage of third party liability protection - General exceptions where the insurance company won’t cover you.
2.1 Using the car out of coverage territory, which means if you want to drive out of the country, you need to inform insurance company first.
2.2 Using your car illegally, of course, insurance company won’t cover if you drive your car to transport drug or rob a bank.
2.3 Using your car for racing as there is a high chance of accidents occuring.
2.4 Using the car to tow or push another object. Exceptions are unless the object being towed is also covered by the insurance company, or if the car is specially designed to tow or push, or the vehicle that has stopping-wheel system for both cars.
2.5 Liability resulting from the driver’s own decision. This means that you have to taken responsibility by signing a document, so please don’t sign anything before insurance officer arrives.
2.6 Car is being driven by a person who has alcohol is more than 150 mg percent in blood.
